The big day is almost here and I am beyond excited. To get us in the mood here are our room keys at the hotel. While this is only a fraction of the awesomeness to come, it’s still pretty freakin sweet.

As everyone should know by now September 1st will be a full reveal for the Call of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer. It’s going to be a red carpet event of EPIC proportions. The guessing games and speculation can finally be put to rest.
On an equally exciting note, I will be attending said red carpet event in LA. Myself and other select COD community VIPs along with assorted celebrities will be in attendance of this amazing COD awesomeness. So be sure to follow me on Twitter and keep an eye on the site as I will attempt to soak up anything and everything I see and squeeze it out onto the internetz.
A new live action trailer for Halo Reach was released yesterday and I have to say it’s pretty sick. I’m always impressed by these live action scenes that are produced to promote Halo. They maybe short but they pack a punch. Kinda makes me wish they would follow though on that movie they were going to do.
Halo Reach drops September 14th.

Special thanks to my buddy Ian for alerting me to the existence of this epic fanboy work of art.
Super Fallout fan Ryan Palser created his own replica A3-21 Plasma Rifle from Fallout 3. Talk about dedication. This thing looks like it could take out an army of Super Mutants.
Now the plasma weapons were never my weapons of choice while roaming the wastelands but this thing is freakin epic.

Even is you don’t like Fallout, you have to admit that’s pretty damn impressive.
Treyarch’s Community Manager Josh Olin and Military Adviser Hank Keirsey answer a few questions about the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops. Try not to get too distracted by the interviewers hair.
Note: Yes it’s pretty laggy but that’s how it ran even live. So get past the lag and the hair and listen to the info.
Being the huge Harry Potter geek that I am, I am obligated to mention the fact that Xbox 360 Kinect will be featured in the upcoming Deathly Hallows video game.

Actors James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasely from the Harry Potter films) came on stage for a live demonstration of the game’s “Challenge” mode, which will utilized the motion-sensing camera. The Phelps’ took on the roles of Harry and Ron as they fought off death eaters and snatchers using magic spells, activated with hand gestures. It was hard to get a sense of how spell types were activated, but pointing at the screen appeared to fire off a melee attack; pushing out both hands at once seemed to push back enemies.
Now i haven’t bought an EA Harry Potter game since Chamber of Secrets. They just didn’t deliver for me. But Deathly Hallows does look pretty epic. Voldemort is taking over and Harry is on the hunt for Horcruxes. The walls of Hogwarts are no longer there to protect him. That’s what makes this game different. The bright and happy scenes are replaced with dark colors and cold backgrounds.
While the Kinect feature is a cool add on it’s defiantly not worthy of the whole game. From the videos I’ve seen of it, I feel like it would get old fast. But still it’s something worth having in the game as a separate game mode. I mean who doesn’t want to pretend they are a wizard trying to protect the world from Death Eaters?
If you were going to buy any one game in this Summer of Arcade Monday night Combat would be it. In my opinion of course.
I got my first glimpse of this game back at PAX East in March. Crowds of people huddled around the screens waiting for their chance to try their hand at the game. It looked like a decent game but I of course forgot all about it until this Summer.
MNC is a third person shooter that takes place in different battle arenas. In Blitz mode your mission is to protect your Money Ball from wave after wave of robots that want to destroy it. You can take on these bots with a buddy in spit screen or with up to 3 three others over Xbox LIVE.
Rather take on human enemies? In Crossfire mode you not only have to protect your own Money Ball but your real objective is to destroy the opposing team’s Money Ball. Along with the bots you encountered in Blitz mode you must hold your own against a team of six human controlled players.
As for weapons and classes, there are six different characters to play as. Each with different weapons and skills that will aid in your pursuit to destroy the Money Ball.
So if you have the points and are in the market for a good Arcade game hit the download button on this one.
I’ve been pretty satisfied with my plain old white wireless controller that came with my arcade system. But this Limited Edition Fable III controller is pretty tempting. This is the king of controllers.
This bad boy drops October 3rd with a price tag of $59.99 while Fable III itself hits stores on October 26th.
It’s time to put the rumors to bed my friends. Treyarch’s Josh Olin tweets a confermation that Zombies will return in Call of Duty Black Ops.
So if you are on the fence about upgrading your pre-order to the hardened or prestige edition I’d say this detail should push you towards doing it.
Zombies was an incredible addition to WaW and is a big reason why many gamers still hang on to the game rather than giving it the old trade in. It’s a fun and amusing game type that (with the right group) can be awesome.
My guess is that the callback WaW co-op maps are just the tip of the iceberg for what Black Ops has in store for co-op. I look forward to more exciting add-ons post release.
I am beyond excited for this game. Bioshock(the original) Is pretty much my all time favorite game. I know, I know hard to believe giving the amount of love I give to COD. But Bioshock is more than just a game, it’s a freakin work of art. The colors, the images, the feel, the stories, just all of it is amazing.
Here a little taste of what’s ahead…
So to the skies we go from the watery depths of Rapture. A new canvas to spread the Bioshock awesomeness. We might lose that dark and rusty color but I look forward to the new venue. I have a lot of faith in this franchise and their ability to give the gamers an epic story.
